Edgar is my cousin Kim's son, and on July 31st he turned three! I've always been close to Kim, and then she married my husband's best friend, and then we had kids 5 months apart. Our families are close and have always lived close together too, until now. Kim and Robert live in Layton, and we live in Salt Lake. We hadn't been able to get together since we moved, but on Edgar's birthday we met up for a little water party for the kids. There were 6 kids, all cousins or second cousins. It was awesome to catch up with my cousins and sisters, and for my kids to get to play with their cousins. I love being with family. The only thing that could have made the day better is if Dustin could have come, but he wasn't able to get off work in time. Ah well, such is life. Happy Birthday Edgar!
