Lunchtime

How was your lunch today? I imagine that if you don't have kids at home, it went something like this: 
Make lunch, sit down, eat lunch. 

Here's how lunch went at our house today:

-Make Eleanor's lunch (nachos and sour cream)
-Start making Lia's lunch (quesadilla)
-Wash Eleanor's hands and face because she is painting with the sour cream
-Try to finish the quesadilla
-Clean Eleanor again because she shoved too many chips in her mouth and threw up everywhere
-Finish the quesadilla
-Start making my own nachos
-Blow on Lia's quesadilla repeatedly because it's too "hot"
-Finish making my nachos
-Get after Lia for kicking her sister
-Start eating
-Get Lia some water with ice
-Eat another bite
-Get Eleanor some water and ice too
-Eat some more nachos
-Tell Eleanor to stop shoving ice in her mouth and gagging herself
-Clean up Lia's water because she spilled it on the floor
-Finish eating my nachos
-Clean up Eleanor's water because she spilled it on the floor 
-Try (and fail) to get Lia to eat more than just three bites of quesadilla
-Eleanor found someone's half-eaten bag of fruit snacks and is eating them for lunch. Decide to just go with it. In fact, fruit snacks for everyone.

Some days its just easier to throw your hands up and surrender to the madness. 

Gotta go--Eleanor just dumped out the entire bag of chips.
